Phone Scam Warning From IRS

On November 7, 2013, the IRS release a warning to the public about a phone scam involving people across the nation claiming they owe taxes and attempting to collect the money using pre-paid debit cards or wire transfers.
Be aware that the IRS does NOT attempt to collect unpaid taxes via the telephone! If you owe taxes, you will be notified via a letter.
